This wheel mixes gentle truth questions with silly, safe dares, so nobody has to invent a prompt on the spot. Every segment is labeled Truth or Dare, and the wheel skips prompts it has already landed on, so a full round never repeats itself.
When to use it
Truth or dare works best with three to ten players sitting in a circle. Pass a phone around or put the wheel on a TV in full screen and press Space to spin. Whoever spins reads the prompt aloud and either answers honestly or performs the dare before handing over.
The classic version lets each player choose truth or dare first. This wheel decides for them, which keeps shy players from always picking truth and keeps the game moving at sleepovers, birthday parties and youth group nights.
Agree on a pass rule before you start. A common house rule gives every player two free passes per game, no questions asked, so nobody feels pushed into sharing something private.
Ideas
- Birthday sleepover: let the guest of honor spin first, then go clockwise until everyone has had three turns.
- Family reunion: cousins of different ages can all play, because the dares are about silly voices and small physical challenges rather than embarrassment.
- Camp or youth group: project the wheel on a wall and let teams take turns, with one volunteer from each team acting out the dare.
Variations
- Delete the prompts that do not fit your group and type your own, one per line. Inside jokes from your friend group make the best truths.
- Switch to normal mode and add weight to the dares by writing a prompt as Dare - Sing the alphabet backwards*2 if your crowd prefers action over talking.
- Keep score on paper of how many dares each person completed, then crown a Dare Champion at the end of the night.
Tips
- Keep it kind. If a truth makes someone uncomfortable, laugh it off and spin again rather than pressing for an answer.
- Clear a little space before you begin so physical dares like planks and jumping jacks happen safely away from furniture.
- Save your edited wheel on your device so next time the group's favorite prompts are ready without retyping.
